Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) is again showing its social commitment and donating a vehicle to the Red Cross.
Every day BIL is assisting citizens and businesses in their projects and contributing to cultural and social domains. Faithful to this tradition, the bank has handed over a Volkswagen Polo car to the Red Cross in the presence of François Pauly, BIL’s Chief Executive Officer, and Jacques Hansen, Director General of the Luxembourg Red Cross.
Given by BIL for travel by Red Cross employees, the vehicle will also be used by the charity for its publicity campaigns. The Polo has been decorated with the organisation’s end-of- year campaign colours thanks to the generous support of the TAC-O-TAC advertising studio. The studio is also offering to renew the vehicle’s lettering for the new Red Cross campaigns in 2013.
The 2012 end-of-year Red Cross campaign aims to make the public aware of the essential subject of reconstruction and restoration after humanitarian disasters. Disasters linked to natural phenomena, wars and other emergencies following conflicts have doubled in 20 years and have affected the lives of millions of people. Restoration seeks not only to reconstruct but also to help families and communities to return to normal life. To make a donation and support the campaign you need only scan the Flashiz code shown on the vehicle.
