Providing help throughout the country
The Luxembourg Red Cross has 39 local sections throughout the country. They are the platform for mobilisation for about 3,500 volunteers (lien Volunteering) and are the physical expression of the Red Cross’ close link with the country and its people, which has existed for more than a hundred years.
The local sections are located in: Bascharage, Bertrange, Bettembourg, Betzdorf, Bissen, Boevange/Attert, Clemency, Colmar/Berg, Colpach, Diekirch, Differdange, Dippach, Dudelange, Echternach, Esch/Alzette, Ettelbruck, Grevenmacher, Hesperange, Junglinster, Kayl, Kehlen, Kopstal-Bridel, Larochette, Luxembourg-Ville, Mamer, Mersch, Mertzig, Mondercange, Perlé, Pétange, Remich-Schengen, Rumelange, Sanem, Schifflange, Steinfort, Strassen, Tétange, Walferdange, Wiltz.
All local sections actively take part in the annual “Mois du Don” fundraising campaign. They are also closely linked to local life, and organise a wide range of activities: through bazaars, leisure and cultural events such as lectures, receptions, balls, charity dinners, concerts or Christmas market stands and other local events. With the proceeds generated, we help people in Luxembourg and elsewhere in the world. Clothing collections and other local initiatives also allow for direct, local help.
Would you like to participate? Then please contact: benevolat@croix-rouge.lu. We will put you in touch with one of the above-mentioned local sections in your area.
